My abstract rendering of Saint Michael the Archangel captures the powerful yet serene spirit of divine protection and courage. The sweeping lines and soft, ethereal hues create a visual harmony that speaks to the spiritual strength and gentle resolve of Saint Michael as he stands guard over the faithful. My goal when creating this piece was to invite the viewer to feel safe under his watchful care, while also urging a deeper connection with the heavenly forces at work around us.
St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
