Introducing “Colors of Mary”, an Abstract Collection
As I unveil the "Colors of Mary" collection, it feels like I’m sharing a piece of my heart with you. This abstract series is a colorful celebration of faith, love, and the wild adventure of motherhood—a journey where Mary's has held so much space in my life.
As my family gears up to move to a new city, the space this collection has in my heart is hard to put into words. As I splashed shades of celestial blue and shiny gold onto canvas, it felt like I was channeling all the moments of pure joy as well as redemptive suffering that this studio space handed me.
For five incredible years, my studio's been more than just a place to sling paint. It's been ground zero for creativity, messiness, and also most importantly, spiritual growth and prayer. And, in the middle of all of that has been two pillars who have stood more solid than the ground beneath my feet ; Jesus and Mary. Both of whom have poured grace, wisdom, strength, and love onto me through the ups and downs of being an artist for Christ.
So, as I say goodbye to my trusty studio, I'm doing it with a heart full of gratitude—for the laughs, the love, and all the inspiration that's filled these walls. And, as I dive into whatever comes next, I'll be carrying my two pillars with me to be my guides as I continue my journey as a Catholic artist.
Here's to the "Colors of Mary" collection—an abstract reminder of motherhood in the purest form through Mary our heavenly Mother. I pray these paintings bring peace to your hearts and are a constant reminder of the beautiful journey of motherhood.
Yours in Christ,
Natalie
